Morgan le Fay was the enchantress of the English legends of the King Arthur. In different variations of the legend she possessed different powers and had different stories. Supposedly she initially was the Celtic pagan goddess or her image came from the water nymph of Breton legends. Anyway she is very mysterious character. In one of the legends Morgana persuades her lover sir Accolon to steal Excalibur from Arthur in hope that he will defeat the King with it in combat. But the story goes another way. Anyway, the heroes of my illustration are Morgana, sir Accolon and Excalibur.

I have a hobby. I have the world's largest collection of sea shells. I keep it scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you've seen some of it.
You'll walk unscathed through musket fire No ploughman's blade will cut thee down No cutlass wound will mark thy face And you will be my ain true love...
... ... WOW! This is really amazing. Have you read Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Mists of Avalon?" Maybe not exactly cannon, but a very good read pertaining to the Arthurian legends.
so beautiful!
have a great weekend!
