Tree Fairy by ~any-s-kill - The loose brushwork and soft colours lend a particular charm to this painting. I love the stark contrast between the sweet, candy pink of the fairy and the dark grey in the roots, whose forms create an association with skulls thus placing the image between the fantasy and the horror genre.

Мир волшебства и долгих рассветов, бездонного неба, невиданных лесов... Здесь растут феи. Все очень просто: сначала они составляютт одно целое с деревом. Но пробужденные музыкой весны, формируются, созревают и расцветают. Отделившись от своего дереа, фея улетает в зовущий ее мир, но возвращается на склоне лет, и остается здесь, сама становясь деревом. Вот так вот

The world of magic and long sunrises, boundless skies and mysterious forests... Fairies grow here. It's very simple: at first they are one with the tree. But as the music of Spring awaken them, they start to form up, ripen and bloom. Having finally separated from her tree, a fairy flies away into the world that beckons her, but she returns in the end of her days to stay her and become a tree herself. Just like this.
